About me

I am a multimedia design student at Nordic Multimedia Academy (NoMA) in Kolding, Denmark.

I am also an author of three published books and have written for all the major newspapers and magazines in Iceland.

In 1999 I graduated as a system analyst and worked as a consultant and Lotus Notes Programmer for several years.

My work consisted mainly of developing and designing Notes databases and applications.

The Eyetrack III research is very significant for designers, web developers and news website managers.

Among the many interesting findings Eyetrack III research has uncovered are: 1) navigation placed at the top of a homepage performed best, 2) text rules on the computer screen; both in order viewed and in overall time spent looking at it, 3) smaller type encourages focused reading, while larger types promotes lighter scanning.

These findings should be assimilated into your website in order to increase functionality.
